HI, I just returned from the Ayahuasca-wasi.com's March retreat in Cuzco. I believe this is the only dharma based ayahuasca retreat center and I can recommend it highly! The shaman, Diego and his wife Milagros are experienced, compassionate, and skilled guides with great integrity. Diego is a committed student of the dharma, as you will see on the website. They held the energetic container of the retreat for all 20 of us with great skill. The ceremonies were intense and absolutely everyone in our group experienced healing and transformation to varying degrees, ranging from "wow, I don't know what is different but I feel very different." to "I have been reborn 1000 times this week". Nobody was disappointed. The accommodations are fantastic, as is the food, and above all the incredible beauty of the Sacred Valley. Diego took us on meaningful day trips between ceremonies that connected us to the land and the people of the Sacred Valley. It was not a "dharma" retreat in a formal sense, but the sangha there is strong, and the energy was all dharma. I will be going back for sure. - Suchness , posted 03/28/08 |
